Gatorade de Mexico, a PepsiCo subsidiary and producer of Gatorade, needed accurate, near‑real‑time sales visibility to capitalize on fast‑moving market opportunities across Mexico. Its existing BI system (MicroStrategy) refreshed daily and required lengthy, manual report generation (40 minutes to four hours), causing delays, extra work and higher risk of errors.
Working with partner GPStrategy, Gatorade deployed QlikView to 20 users in under a week, using in‑memory data refreshed about every 45 minutes and delivering interactive dashboards and mobile alerts. Reporting time fell to roughly three minutes, saving significant employee hours (up to $237 per report), improving forecasting, inventory and sales efficiency, and delivering a full return on investment in four months.
