Ensuring successful SAP refreshes Qlik Gold Client syncs data across multiple SAP systems

Puget Sound Energy, a Washington State utility serving roughly four million Americans daily, depends on SAP for core business processes. With 12 SAP instances and frequent product updates, the company faced the challenge of minimizing outages and ensuring the right data was available in the right systems to prototype, test and implement SAP changes.

By using Qlik Gold Client to harmonize master and transactional data and apply stronger data scrambling, Puget Sound Energy performed smaller refreshes and a full SAP system refresh while keeping ECC, BW and CRM synchronized. The solution supported new billing and CRM rollouts and enabled billing throughput of 70,000 customer bills per night and two million customers per month.
