Enolytics, co‑founded by Cathy Huyghe, is a data‑visualization and aggregation firm that set out to solve the wine industry’s long‑standing data gap. The challenge was fragmented, underutilized consumer and sales data plus cultural resistance—wine professionals lacked tools, time, and sometimes the appetite to embrace analytics, leaving brands without a clear view of consumer behavior or market trends.

Enolytics built a collaborative data ecosystem using Qlik Sense to deliver auto‑updating, color‑coded KPI scorecards that save sales teams time and prioritize action, while partnering with sources like Vivino to run NLP analyses of tasting notes and GeoAnalytics heat maps. These solutions gave clients—notably Frescobaldi—B2C visibility, granular targeting and segmentation, and stronger marketing and DTC strategies (especially during COVID); the work even became a Harvard Business School analytics case study, and Enolytics continues to scale impact through education and industry collaboration.
