Drexel University uses Qlik to equip students with data analytics skills

Drexel University’s LeBow College of Business, part of a top-100 private university with about 26,000 students, needed to expand its data analytics curriculum to meet rising student and employer demand for visualization and BI skills. Faculty sought a hands-on visualization solution to teach data discovery, decision-making, and business performance analysis across certificates and degree programs.

By joining the Qlik Academic Program, Dr. Bay Arinze gained free QlikView licenses and resources and built multiple applications and a course curriculum within one month. Students now use Qlik to create dashboards from real datasets each quarter, gaining practical data-exploration experience and stronger preparation for fact-based decision-making in the workplace.
