Case Study: DPD Switzerland achieves reduced carbon footprint and improved customer service with Qlik

A Qlik Case Study

Preview of the DPD Case Study

DPD Switzerland reduces carbon footprint and improves customer service

DPD Switzerland, a leading private express and parcel delivery service with 1,200 employees delivering about 24 million parcels a year, set ambitious sustainability goals—net zero by 2040 and a 75% CO2 reduction by 2030, plus green transport rollouts by 2025. To achieve these targets and raise customer satisfaction, the company needed deeper, visual insights across multiple source systems and up‑to‑date data to identify efficiency and ecological improvement opportunities.

Working with Informatec, DPD implemented Qlik Sense, creating roughly 20 streams and 50 apps used by 120 employees to centralize CRM, pricing, logistics and in‑house tracking data with hourly updates. The solution—including a dedicated "Green Stream" for CO2 per parcel, electric fleet and depot energy reports—delivers clear visualizations, automated reporting, cross‑departmental analysis and a growing internal BI team, enabling faster operational decisions and measurable progress toward emissions and service goals.
