De Swinhove Groep is a Dutch eldercare provider offering intensive, tailored and small-scale living arrangements with about 500 employees and 500 volunteers. Facing rising healthcare costs, shifting funding and greater financial responsibility, the organisation needed to become a high-grade information organisation that could quickly integrate changes in management control information and improve transparency around costs, staffing and productivity.

Working with VCD Business Intelligence, De Swinhove implemented QlikView to deliver fast, visual dashboards and ad‑hoc Business Discovery across finance, HR and productivity data (initial financial app built in 2.5 days). The solution consolidated BOMAS, Beaufort, Plancare and Ortec Harmony data to give managers daily, real‑time insight into costs, revenue, FTEs and productivity, drove high user adoption, measurable improvements in decision‑making and scenario planning, and enabled cost‑saving opportunities without adding administrative staff.
