Christian Aid, a long‑standing international development charity that raises millions each year to help the world’s poorest communities, faced a major reporting challenge: a huge, complex donor database, labour‑intensive analysis, and limited budget and resources made it hard to evaluate fundraising performance, target marketing spend, and demonstrate accountability—issues made more urgent by the economic downturn.
Christian Aid implemented QlikView with CIBER in a phased three‑month rollout of customised dashboards, giving fast, self‑service access to donation trends and channel performance. The result was massive time savings, better forecasting and budgeting, improved targeting of marketing investment, and stronger transparency and accountability—allowing the charity to analyse far more data quickly without relying on external consultants.
