Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta revolutionizes information delivery with QlikView

Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta (CHOA) is one of the largest pediatric care providers in the U.S., managing over half a million visits annually across multiple hospitals and neighborhood locations. CHOA’s BI environment relied on static, slow reports that left clinicians, researchers and managers waiting days or weeks for insights and unable to perform self-service, dimensional analysis or mashups across disparate data sources.

CHOA partnered with IPC Global to pilot and deploy QlikView, replacing a slow OLAP-cube approach; the team built key financial and operational dashboards in about a month and rolled the solution out to 500 users. QlikView handled 100M+ records, cut reporting time by roughly 65%, eliminated 10–12 day waits for research queries, reduced IT dependency, and delivered faster, interactive visibility that accelerated decision-making and expanded analytics adoption.
