Canon India Drives Sales with QlikView

Canon India, a market leader in digital imaging with a large dealer and retail network across India, faced slow, manual reporting—extracting transaction data from Oracle into Excel and cleaning it for analysis—making it hard to get timely, consolidated sales, inventory and dealer-level insights for decision-makers.

To fix this, Canon deployed QlikView (with Team Computers) to 30 users, integrating Oracle, Excel and Lotus Notes to provide dashboards and hourly-refreshed, near‑real‑time views. The three-month rollout enabled drill-down analysis, faster sales projections, improved product quality and delivery performance, and drove actionable insights that led users to request further enhancements.
