Case Study: Burger King Russia achieves real-time, data-driven restaurant efficiency and improved customer service with Qlik

A Qlik Case Study

Preview of the Burger King Case Study

Burger King serves up Qlik data to streamline its vast Russian operations

Burger King Russia, operating 760 restaurants across 300 cities and six time zones and opening about 100 new locations a year, needed to combine rapid expansion with profitability. The challenge was consolidating disparate data from many systems and delivering timely, actionable reports to 200 area managers and 760 restaurant managers so they could quickly spot issues, evaluate promotions, and implement rapid “quick wins” across multiple sales channels.

Working with partner Qlever, Burger King implemented Qlik (moving from QlikView to Qlik Sense) to centralize analytics, connect local POS databases for near-real-time reporting, and give managers self-service apps and dashboards. The solution boosted restaurant efficiency and customer service, streamlined expansion, ensured confidence in data quality (with sub-15– to 30-minute visibility on events), and enabled faster, regular data-driven decisions across the chain.
