Art In Motion driving the business with QlikView

Art In Motion is a Canadian fine-art publisher and wholesaler serving customers in more than 70 countries. Rapid growth and a 2002 JD Edwards ERP implementation produced large, complex data sets that frustrated users across four distinct sales channels—creating a need for real-time, front-line access to sales, inventory and distribution analysis and easier reporting and drill-down capabilities.

The company deployed QlikView in about three weeks, integrating JD Edwards and EDI data and rolling the solution out to ~60 users to provide order-to-delivery visibility and self-service analytics. As a result Art In Motion cut inventory from $14M to $7M in roughly 14 months, improved supply-chain efficiency and supplier negotiations, streamlined production planning with daily KPIs, and strengthened its ability to advise major customers.
