Northrim Bank is a community bank in Alaska that blends traditional customer service with digital innovation to serve remote, often road‑inaccessible communities. Facing common analytics problems—fragmented reporting, slow manual processes, and a need to demonstrate clear ROI—Northrim sought a way to make data accessible across the organization and support rapid, geographically informed decision‑making.

Working with Pomerol Partners to deploy Qlik Sense, Northrim quickly built a suite of analytics apps that replaced manual workflows and delivered executive‑level and drill‑down insights. Results included immediate C‑suite adoption of a balance‑sheet tool, rapid management of PPP loans (funding nearly a third of Alaska’s PPP credits and earning SBA Lender of the Year), daily fraud monitoring, geocoding‑led disaster outreach during Typhoon Merbok, and a growing user base of about 200 staff.
