Alabama Farmers Cooperative (AFC) is a regional federated supply and marketing agricultural cooperative serving 47 member associations with about 90 retail locations, more than 3,000 product lines and over $300M in annual sales. AFC faced severe seasonal variability and fragmented data across multiple systems, which made margin and profitability analysis slow, manual and limited to monthly snapshots—hindering timely operational and financial decisions.
AFC deployed 12 QlikView applications to 20 users in 16 weeks across finance, sales, inventory and operations, providing daily dashboards, two-hour inventory refreshes, one-click store access and rapid loan/store analysis. The new visibility and drill-down capabilities enabled faster, fact-based decisions, improved store efficiency and customer service, reduced duplicate purchasing and helped AFC better manage seasonal swings—improving margins and overall profitability.
