Epta carves out market-leading position in European refrigeration with Qlik Gold Client®

Epta, the Milan-based multinational refrigeration group, needed to cleanly separate its Epta CNE business from joint-venture partner Viessmann while extracting large volumes of SAP data without disrupting operations. The challenge was to isolate master, transactional, and especially customized data from a shared SAP environment within a tight timeline, using a solution acceptable to both parties.

Epta worked with Qlik and Accenture to implement Qlik Gold Client, which enabled a transparent, evidence-backed data extraction and carve-out. The project was completed in a few weeks and finished on schedule, with Epta CNE now operating fully independently from Viessmann, go-live completed in under 48 hours, and no interruption to end-user operations.
