CDL, a UK insurtech serving insurance retailers, needed a faster way to move and analyze huge volumes of data for its cloud-based Kingfisher business intelligence platform. With insurance decisions and price comparisons happening in real time, CDL faced the challenge of giving customers near-instant access to data instead of waiting up to 24 hours for refreshes. Qlik data integration, including Qlik Replicate® and Qlik Compose®, was used to support this need.

Qlik helped CDL deliver real-time data ingestion across cloud and on-premises environments, including AWS and Oracle-to-PostgreSQL migrations. As a result, data that once took 24 hours to refresh is now available within minutes, with over 50 Kingfisher instances running 24x7 and data volumes nearing 100TB. The Qlik solution improved customer value and ROI while helping CDL stay competitive and enable better, faster decision-making.
