Thomas More and EpicData work with the Qlik Academic Program to empower students with data skills for real-world impact

Thomas More University, the largest university of applied sciences in Belgium’s Flanders region, wanted to give its students a strong grounding in data and analytics while offering an easy-to-use, interactive platform that complemented theory with hands-on experience. To address this, the university partnered with Qlik through the Qlik Academic Program and worked with Qlik partner EpicData to bring real-world data learning into its curriculum.

Qlik’s Academic Program provided free access to software, training, and learning resources, helping students build skills through practical projects and internships. The results included greater student engagement, easier exploration of data, and valuable real-world experience that prepared students for the workplace; one student’s Qlik-based internship project even led to a full-time job offer at EpicData.
