Sheffield University Management School works with Qlik® Academic Program to give students invaluable experience

Sheffield University Management School worked with the Qlik Academic Program to help students gain practical data analytics experience with Qlik Sense. The school needed to move beyond static, theoretical teaching and give business students—many without technical backgrounds—a more hands-on way to understand BI and data visualization.

Qlik provided free access to Qlik Sense, training, and learning resources, which allowed the school to run lab sessions using real-world retail and supply chain datasets. As a result, students built dashboards, explored forecasting and machine learning, and gained valuable working knowledge they can apply to placements and future careers. Qlik’s ease of use made analytics more accessible to non-IT students and strengthened the school’s curriculum.
