Catalyst Cloud, a UK-based high-tech software company, worked with Qlik to address the challenge of helping large retailers and builders’ merchants collaborate more effectively with suppliers while gaining better visibility into stock status, sales, and performance. The goal was to make powerful analytics accessible to a broad range of users through a simple, web-based supply chain portal called Coeus SEP.

Qlik helped Catalyst Cloud develop the Coeus Supplier Experience Portal (SEP), a customizable portal built around Qlik analytics and APIs. The solution enabled real-time sharing of sales, stock, and invoice data, improving collaboration and operational efficiency; Wickes attributed a 1% increase in profitability to the platform, representing a seven-figure gain, and customers also gained a new revenue stream by monetizing supply-chain data.
