Leading Auto Parts Retailer worked with QL2 Software to solve a data-matching challenge in a complex auto parts environment. The retailer had private-label products, non-unique model numbers, and inconsistent manufacturer naming, and its previous vendor was producing irrelevant matches, such as comparing a bearing to a rug. The goal was to improve scale for price monitoring, receive reliable interchanges, and better understand assortment strategies.

QL2 Software implemented its flagship data collection and Opti Price – Smart Match approach, using fitment-based crawls and interchanges plus extraction and normalization of 3–8 attributes across 58 categories and 400K+ SKUs. The solution gave the retailer more meaningful customer-view interchanges, improved scalability, and regional visibility that reduced manual in-store effort.
