Toyota New Zealand faced a fragmented recruitment landscape: independently operated dealerships and a head office without a central HR function meant inconsistent hiring processes across the country. When Jane Stella became Team Leader for Future People Development she prioritized an applicant tracking and recruitment software solution, selecting QJumpers to provide a unified, branded careers experience and consistent recruitment approach.
QJumpers implemented its recruitment software with a rapid July–October rollout, a nationwide training roadshow led by QJumpers’ General Manager Simon Oldham, a simple dashboard and expanded reporting (from one initial report to seven). The result: clearer visibility and accountability for dealers, more applicants and better data — of roughly 25 jobs advertised monthly about a quarter of applicants now find roles via Toyota’s careers site and about 11% of applicants are being shortlisted — demonstrating measurable improvements in attraction and recruitment efficiency driven by QJumpers.
