Testing SAP End-to-end Processes of Metso’s Online Store

Metso, the Finnish industrial machinery company, needed a reliable way to test its my.metso.com online service end to end as it expanded into digital self-service and online parts sales. With many user roles, pricing variations, regional order differences, and constantly added features, the company faced a growing testing burden that manual methods could not handle efficiently. Qentinel was brought in to support automated end-user testing using its Pace tool and services.

Qentinel implemented automated testing processes for Metso’s online store so tests could be launched whenever new features were introduced and reused as part of the service’s ongoing quality assurance. This improved testing productivity, made cumulative regression testing faster and more efficient, and helped Metso keep the service stable as the number of required tests continued to grow.
