Strategy Definition and Execution in Practice

Teknikum, a European polymer technology group with operations across several countries, was defining a new business strategy and renewing its ERP system when it realized its IT organization may not have the capability to support those goals. Qentinel was brought in to assess Teknikum’s current IT state and identify the key development areas needed to align IT with the new business direction.

Qentinel then worked with Teknikum to define an IT strategy that included strategic objectives, KPIs, development projects, target enterprise architecture, a roadmap, and CIO responsibilities. Qentinel also supported the first stage of the ERP renewal by running the ERP RFI process, giving Teknikum a stronger basis for decision-making and a clearer path forward for both IT development and ERP replacement.
