RPA Speeds Up Work in the City of Tampere

The City of Tampere, a large public-sector organization running services across healthcare, education, child welfare, and more, was struggling with massive volumes of information moving manually between systems that had no integrations or interfaces. To find a more efficient way to handle these processes and save labor hours, the city partnered with Qentinel and explored Robotic Process Automation (RPA), supported by Qentinel Pace for monitoring and dashboards.

Qentinel helped the City of Tampere identify, design, and implement automation use cases across multiple departments, including reservations, child protection notifications, archiving, daycare decisions, customer fees, and prescription renewal workflows. Despite technical challenges, the project delivered six robots in production/testing and later expanded further, doubling the number of robots after deployment; the automations also helped reduce manual work and free staff for more meaningful tasks.
