QCommission Software Helps Pearl Design Group in Automating Their Sales Commissions

Pearl Design Group, a Chicago-based kitchen and bath design firm, struggled with a time-consuming, manual commission process that required exporting job profitability and payroll data to spreadsheets so commissions could be calculated only after income and expenses were paid and payroll expenses tied to each payee. Seeking a solution, General Manager Bob Carlson selected QCommission and its commission software to address these requirements.

QCommission integrated with QuickBooks to import fully paid invoices, bills, credit memos, customers and customer jobs, matched costs by job number and captured payroll expense transactions, then configured compensation plans and commission statement templates. The result was an automated, validated commission process that eliminated manual exports and spreadsheet reconciliation, improved accuracy for each pay period and has been in use at Pearl Design Group since December 2013—earning praise from the customer for significant efficiency gains.
