Getinge Group Streamlines Sales Commission Processes with QCommission

Getinge Group, a global medical technology company, faced a sprawling sales compensation problem: more than 60 complex plans calculated across almost 800 payees using hundreds of separate Microsoft Access and Excel files. Frequent payee movements (~300/year), varied source formats, and manual reconciliations made audits slow, error-prone, and unscalable. After evaluating vendors, Getinge selected QCommission’s commission management software to automate, centralize, and add audit trails and workflow control.

QCommission implemented a phased, cloud-based rollout (Maquet in 2Q2017, Getinge division through 1Q2018), meeting requirements for crediting, splits, overrides and draws and nearly doubling payees on the platform. The result was a 55–65% reduction in processing time—non-quarter cycles fell from 3–4 days to 2–3 days and quarter-ends from 5–6 days to 4–5 days—while audit staffing dropped from three people to one–two. QCommission also delivered centralized reporting, improved accuracy and consistency, easier training, and scalable support as Getinge expanded to 64 plans and plans to renew.
