EO Science Lab, the purity-testing and R&D laboratory for an essential oils company, faced fragmented sample tracking and reporting using spreadsheets and scattered instrument files that made answering result queries take 20–30 minutes. With experience evaluating seven other LIMS, EO Science Lab turned to QBench to replace manual manifests and improve sample/data visibility and integrity.
QBench implemented spreadsheet-style worksheets for multi‑analyte assays, a file parser to import instrument data, label configurations, and a customer portal, centralizing samples, test requests, and results in a secure, maintained application. The QBench implementation eliminated duplicate work, improved data integrity, shortened report retrieval from 20–30 minutes to under 2 minutes, and was deployed in a few months versus the nine–12 months the lab had seen with other systems.
