Large-Sized Cutting-Edge Solutions Providing Company, a large point-of-sale provider serving music, publishing, and video distribution clients, needed to validate and harden protection around a vast database of sensitive financial and customer data. QASource was engaged to perform network security testing and penetration testing of the network perimeter and web applications to detect unauthorized access, injection flaws, brute-force and DDoS weaknesses.

QASource executed a two‑phase penetration test (network perimeter then web application), testing all reachable elements against attacker models and producing a prioritized set of findings. The assessment uncovered SQL and CSS injection vectors, potential admin-account takeover paths, DDoS susceptibilities and other issues, enabling the customer to take prompt remediation actions and plan a phased, lower-risk Salesforce deployment to reduce exposure to unauthorized access and data breaches.
