MikMak, a marketing-technology company that provides “Where‑To‑Buy” experiences for major brands, engaged QASource in October 2021 to help address QA and development capacity gaps. As MikMak’s platform scaled and the team shipped weekly feature releases across countries, languages and currencies, they needed extra resources to manage testing and ensure they weren’t breaking functionality for their brand partners. QASource provided custom software development, application testing and IT staff augmentation to support those needs.
QASource embedded with MikMak’s engineering team, growing from an initial two QA engineers to a nine-person squad (two QA and seven software engineers) that builds automated tests continuously and develops new JavaScript features. By increasing automated test coverage week over week and integrating into MikMak’s processes, QASource helped reduce shipped defects, improve release quality, and scale feature delivery; the engagement expanded to an investment of $750,000–$1,000,000 and earned top client ratings for quality and schedule.
