DueFocus, a desktop time and task tracking application, needed a fully fledged cross-platform solution for MacOS, Windows, and Linux that could monitor activity across the system, support both solo users and teams, and integrate with 30+ task-management tools. QArea was brought in to help develop and test the product so it could meet the productivity and workflow needs of IT professionals and other users.

QArea built the solution using a microservices architecture with Golang, React, Electron, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and multiple databases and APIs to deliver task tracking, productivity analytics, invoice and SLA management, real-time team activity monitoring, and broad third-party sync capabilities. The team also handled QA across performance, functionality, load, security, and UI/UX, resulting in a fast, usable desktop app with online and offline support.
