Esportsale, a U.S.-based sports e-commerce and retail platform, partnered with QArea to build a secure, fast, and user-friendly online store. The challenge was to create a solid Magento-based commerce experience with strong database connectivity, responsive performance, rich merchant functionality, and convenient payment and shopping flows.
QArea implemented a cloud, cross-platform Magento solution using Ajax, CSS3, HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, and PHP, adding homepage banners, “Top Sellers” and “New Arrivals” blocks, filtered category pages, product reviews, and customer referral incentives. The result was a more interactive and engaging sports goods storefront delivered in 2 months by a small team of one designer and two developers, with no quantified metrics reported.
