QArea partnered with MyRiad to build a desktop backup and secure cloud storage application. The customer needed a solution that would let users store files on a virtual disk while protecting data across multiple cloud providers, with an easy command-line interface, analytics, and strong security.

QArea developed and tested the application using C#, UWP, WCF, and XAML, implementing a triple-backup architecture across Amazon S3, Google Drive, and Azure Bucket with RAID 5 and encryption support. The vendor also added a CLI and analytics tool for activity history and cloud metrics. The project reached production after more than six months, and the client reported satisfaction with the results and communication; reported impact included an 87% satisfaction rate and a 7% bounce rate decrease.
