Tier 1 Automotive Supplier, a U.S.-based automotive manufacturer, needed a better way to manage volatile customer demand, supply chain disruptions, and parts shortages. Using QAD ERP in the cloud, the company also relied on QAD Digital Supply Chain Planning and QAD Demand and Delivery to turn customer releases into reliable supplier-facing plans.

QAD fully automated the company’s MRP and planning process, running nightly MRP, firming schedules with QAD MSW/PSW, and sharing forecasts and shipping schedules through EDI and the QAD Demand and Delivery portal.
