Case Study: Brose Thailand achieves 100% inventory accuracy and cuts shipping costs with QAD Enterprise Edition (EE)

A QAD Case Study

Preview of the Brose Thailand Case Study

How Brose Thailand reduced its shipping costs, with fewer inventory overages and better planning, by upgrading to QAD Enterprise Edition

Brose Thailand, a wholly owned subsidiary of global automotive supplier Brose, manufactures window regulators and door modules and was preparing for significant growth with new OEM business. The plant faced underused ERP capabilities, excess inventory, manual data entry, poor shop-floor visibility and high premium freight costs, so it needed an overhaul to support Industry 4.0 practices and more effective, timely decision-making.

Using a QAD Q-Scan as the basis, Brose Thailand upgraded to QAD Enterprise Edition and deployed Master Planning and Scheduling Workbenches, creating a closed-loop production visualization and eliminating manual processes. The 18-month, non-disruptive rollout added checkpoints and real-time visibility across demand, production, inventory and shipping, delivering 100% stock accuracy, reduced shipping costs, improved planning and readiness for future growth.
