A QAD Case Study
Elizabeth Arden, a consumer products company known for make-up and skin care, needed a better way to manage growing international shipping volumes after consolidating operations in Roanoke, VA. Seasonal demand made the timing especially critical, and the company also had to meet new HazMat and export requirements. It turned to QAD and QAD Global Trade and Transportation Execution (GTTE) to support its shipping and global trade compliance needs.
QAD implemented QAD GTTE across Elizabeth Arden’s export operations, expanding from one packing station to 10 stations over two shifts. The solution eliminated manual re-keying with a “Scan Pack” workflow, streamlined packing list creation, and automated shipping and compliance documents. As a result, Elizabeth Arden improved shipping efficiency, reduced errors, and sped up the order-to-cash process while handling higher shipment volumes and new regulatory requirements.
