A QAD Case Study
ARMOR Group’s Altkin division in Nantes, France, needed a better way to manage demand and align its supply chain, because its sales and operations planning was fragmented across Excel files and informal meetings. Working with QAD and its QAD Digital Supply Chain Planning (DSCP) Demand Planning solution, Altkin sought a more structured, collaborative S&OP process that could bring sales, supply chain, manufacturing, marketing, and management onto a single view of customer demand.
QAD helped Altkin implement a centralized S&OP framework and demand planning process, starting with laser ink products and then expanding across the business. The result was a single global view of operations, better daily management, improved alignment between sales planning, inventory, production, and customer service, and rapid user adoption by the sales team, which became self-sufficient and contributed directly to the centralized demand database.
