Chaucer Foods Ltd, a global producer of freeze-dried fruit, soup croutons and other food ingredients, needed to standardize its supply chain and forecasting processes across multiple countries. Facing a fragmented, Excel-based forecasting approach that consumed time and obscured demand signal, Chaucer selected QAD DynaSys DSCP (Demand Planning) to support its move to Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and to create a single, controlled forecasting process.

QAD DynaSys implemented its Demand Planning solution to replace ad hoc spreadsheets and provide a process-driven forecasting platform. The QAD DynaSys deployment delivered clearer end-to-end supply chain visibility, more robust monthly demand forecast packs, greater sales-team confidence in forecasts, and a stronger foundation for IBP — reducing the time spent investigating variances and enabling better capacity and supply decisions. Chaucer now plans to extend the QAD DynaSys suite with Production and Distribution Planning to further strengthen its global supply chain.
