A QAD DynaSys Case Study
ARMOR is an international industrial group specializing in printing technologies and ink chemistry with 27 sites and a product portfolio of thousands of SKUs. Faced with fragmented sales forecasts maintained in ERP extracts and Excel—an approach that became slow, unreliable and unscalable as the business grew—ARMOR selected the QAD DynaSys Demand Planning solution in order to centralize forecasting, make planning collaborative across sales and supply chain, and support a formal S&OP process.
QAD DynaSys implemented Demand Planning as the core of ARMOR’s S&OP framework, centralizing data, transferring ownership of forecasts to sales, and enabling cross‑functional monthly reviews. The result was a single global view of demand, rapid user adoption, and clear business impact: a 95% global service level, the ability to absorb a 400% growth in product range with no additional headcount, improved logistics handling (about 600 packages and 9 tons shipped daily), and faster, more reliable inventory and production planning.
