Technicolor, a world leader in digital home and broadband services, needed a better way to test its highly versatile service gateways for residential and business customers. As the gateways added support for IPv4, IPv6, voice, video, WiFi, TR-069, firewall, and IDS features, Technicolor turned to QA Cafe and its CDRouter test platform to help speed up continuous integration and safeguard regression testing.

QA Cafe provided CDRouter’s comprehensive automated testing with useful logging features such as Wireshark traces and step-by-step logs, along with the BuddyWeb interface for easier debugging and sharing results. Technicolor used CDRouter nightly in regression runs, gained faster feedback and clearer issue resolution, and said QA Cafe’s technical support was highly responsive and among the best they had experienced.
