Fox IT Uses CloudShark Appliance to Organize and Streamline Network Security Monitoring

The company had been handling PCAPs manually, which made it difficult to archive, find, and reuse captures when developing and testing detection rules. With QA Cafe’s CloudShark, Fox-IT built a tagged, indexed, and structured PCAP repository that integrates with its internal systems to replay captures against rules and automate testing. This made rule development and validation much faster and more reliable, while also enabling tagging, commenting, and collaborative analysis across the team. QA Cafe helped Fox-IT turn a hard-to-maintain capture collection into an efficient system for automated and manual security monitoring, though the case study does not provide specific numeric metrics.
