Case Study: eero broadens Wi-Fi test coverage with QA Cafe’s CDRouter

A QA Cafe Case Study

Preview of the eero Case Study

eero uses CDRouter to test whole home Wi-Fi mesh products

eero, the consumer Wi‑Fi company, needed a better way to test its whole-home mesh products as it built a premium home gateway with routing, firewall, NAT, DHCP, and advanced eero Plus features. Its team had been doing a lot of manual embedded software and interoperability testing, and wanted broader coverage, faster feedback, and reliable automation while devices stayed connected to eero services.

QA Cafe’s CDRouter gave eero an easy-to-learn, highly configurable automation platform that fit quickly into its workflow, including scripted testing with build servers and the Internet Connection Sharing add-on for routing products. QA Cafe’s support and frequent updates helped the team expand test coverage, catch regressions earlier, and gain confidence in networking standards and embedded software behavior, while saving significant time and supporting a successful initial product launch.
