Altibox uses CDRouter to guarantee CPE for best-in-class broadband service

Altibox, Norway’s largest fiber broadband service provider, needed a more comprehensive and repeatable way to test the many CPE and Wi-Fi projects it was running in parallel, including residential FTTH CPE, wireless access points, firmware updates, and small business CPE. To meet its quality standards for broadband and IPTV, Altibox turned to QA Cafe’s CDRouter platform for broad standards coverage, regression testing, and automation.

Using QA Cafe’s CDRouter, Altibox integrated automated testing with its own tools and ran continuous closed-loop performance and configuration tests. The result was significantly greater confidence in compliance, interoperability, and performance, and the time saved allowed the team to expand other tests tenfold while freeing up more time for integration and third-party compatibility work.
