Harmoney grows revenue, increases loan volumes with Cloud Lending

Harmoney is New Zealand’s largest peer-to-peer lending marketplace, launched as the country’s first licensed marketplace lender after the 2014 Financial Markets Conduct Act. Facing rapid growth, Harmoney needed a secure, flexible, cloud-based platform (preferably on Salesforce) to replace legacy systems, scale quickly, support evolving product needs, and provide global engineering support.

Cloud Lending delivered a cloud-based investor and loan management system that linked borrowers and lenders, was easily customized, and automated origination and funding workflows. As a result Harmoney has facilitated NZ$200 million in loans since 2015, funds 90% of loans within 24 hours, attracts institutional capital (enabling access to ~NZ$500m in lending capital), simplified applications and back-office work, and delivered strong lender outcomes (average net returns ~12%).
