ESL Federal Credit Union, a Rochester-based full-service institution founded in 1920 with $6.1 billion in assets and about 347,000 members, needed a more comprehensive, user-friendly business banking platform. After expanding into business banking in 2010, the credit union sought faster, simpler login, mobile business banking, and expanded commercial functionality that could serve both small businesses and large commercial customers from a single solution.

ESL implemented Q2’s digital banking suite — including the Q2 Digital Banking Platform, Q2 Business Solutions, Q2mobility apps, Q2 Sentinel, and mobile RDC — to provide a unified single sign-on and mobile-first experience. The results included nearly 40% of logins via mobile, stronger deposit and loan growth, increased household relationships, improved retention and adoption, and the ability to serve sole proprietors through large corporations on one platform.
