TLC Health Network, formed by a 2002 merger, operates two hospitals and several clinics in the Greater Buffalo area with about 900 employees, maintaining roughly 3,000 pieces of equipment and handling ~600 work orders per month. The organization struggled with multiple duplicate work orders, poor tracking of completion, and an overall disorganized work order process that hindered plant operations and clinical engineering.
