Corning-Painted Post Area School District - Customer Case Study

Corning-Painted Post Area School District (CPPASD) in Painted Post, NY is a student-centered K–12 district serving about 5,600 students across 16 buildings (13 schools) and over 1 million square feet with more than 1,100 assets. Managing roughly 295 work orders per month, the district needed a more cost-effective, flexible way to pre-schedule and track work orders, capture costs, and generate detailed reports—its existing proprietary software was not user-friendly, lacked adaptability, and failed to meet changing operational needs.

After implementing Q Ware CMMS, CPPASD saw immediate returns through improved accountability, better prioritization and monitoring of work orders, and more accurate cost and funding reports (including vandalism tracking). The system enhanced preventative maintenance and asset sustainability, increased productivity and accountability district-wide, and proved cost-effective while adapting to the district’s evolving work processes.
