A Pyramid Analytics Case Study

Preview of the International Personal Finance Case Study

The UK financial services firm empowers employees with better insights, leading to better decisions

International Personal Finance (IPF is a UK-based home-credit and digital-loans firm serving about 1.7 million customers across nine markets and issuing roughly $1.15 billion in credit annually. IPF’s multi-brand, multi-channel operations relied on an on-premises SQL Server and an older IBM Cognos platform, which produced slow, PDF-based reporting, hindered rapid change, and eroded trust in the data—slowing board-level and operational decision-making.

To address this, IPF migrated group strategic reporting to the Pyramid Decision Intelligence Platform and integrated it with their Snowflake data warehouse, enabling governed self-service analytics and no-code onboarding. The platform consolidated visual and list reporting, automated data-quality checks, delivered board and departmental dashboards, and cut about $37,000 per month in support and SQL licensing. As a result, the team regained confidence in the data, accelerated decision-making, reduced manual reporting, and is continuing to expand Pyramid across finance and operational reporting.
