Keiser University Increases Retention Through Data and Analytics

Keiser University, a global education leader serving about 20,000 students across 21 Florida campuses and online, faced a data challenge: student records and learning activity lived in separate systems (Anthology/Blackboard on AWS and other sources in Azure), and traditional 16-week-cycle analytics couldn’t surface problems quickly enough for Keiser’s four-week course cadence. Advisors and deans were forced to log into multiple systems to piece together a student’s status, delaying interventions and limiting the university’s ability to support at-risk students in real time.

Keiser implemented Pyramid Analytics’ unified Decision Intelligence Platform to provide a single, governed view of student data with multi-source direct queries, AI-guided no-code self-service, and customizable dashboards. The platform lets staff pull a student’s full academic history and current-class activity in one place, enabling early interventions; as a result, Keiser has become more data-driven, improved student support and survey scores, and increased retention while reducing attrition.
