Case Study: Broward County Aviation increases parking revenue and accelerates decision-making with Pyramid Analytics

A Pyramid Analytics Case Study

Preview of the Broward County Case Study

Broward County’s Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport takes decision intelligence to new heights

Broward County Aviation, which operates Fort Lauderdale–Hollywood International Airport, faced an overwhelm of disparate operational data from parking, concessions, flights and finance. Analysts were spending excessive time wrangling spreadsheets instead of generating insights, and the airport needed governed, role-specific access to those insights so departments could make faster, better decisions.

Partnering with Pyramid Analytics and AAJ Technologies, Broward County implemented an enterprise BI solution with 49 dashboard views and three data models (Statistics, Billing Transaction, Parking), automating live reporting and blending data across systems. The platform enabled parking “what‑if” pricing analysis that led to changes in rate structure and increased revenue, faster tracking of concessions sales and Revenue per Enplaned Passenger, and plans to expand with additional models (including airport operations and geospatial data) to further improve operational decisions.
