Eurofarma, a multinational biopharmaceutical corporation and one of the largest medicine producers in Latin America, faced a challenge in its demand forecasting process. They needed a collaborative tool with the flexibility and speed to allow their large team of analysts to work together online efficiently. They found their solution with Pyplan.

Pyplan implemented a collaborative Demand Planning Model that enabled over 27 analysts to jointly adjust Base Demand Forecasts for more than 395 SKUs. The solution, which runs monthly, significantly improved forecasting accuracy, achieving an aggregate MAPE of 13.23%. This tool from Pyplan provided the necessary capabilities that Eurofarma had been unable to find elsewhere.
