MakeWay, a Canadian charity platform that supports about 65 partner programs, was migrating to NetSuite but faced a specific accounting challenge: it needed fund accounting and the ability to generate balance sheets and cash positions for each individual program. To fill that gap during their NetSuite implementation, MakeWay engaged PyanGo and its native NetSuite fund-accounting solution to provide the per-project financial visibility they required.

PyanGo implemented a native NetSuite fund-accounting application that uses SuiteGL to post correct general ledger impacts in real time, eliminating manual rebalancing and extra data exports. The result: MakeWay can produce accurate balance sheets and real-time cash balances for each project, significantly fewer errors, higher reporting accuracy, faster go-live on NetSuite, and improved productivity and visibility across programs thanks to PyanGo.
